Visiting?

Childcare is available to parents for both Sunday School and worship, we have a Disability Care Team that is available to assist with needs for both children and adults, and we have a Resource Room open before and after services with helpful books and media to strengthen your faith.

Plan to come to worship a little early to hear the organ, orchestral, or handbell prelude. We have a cry room at the rear of the sanctuary for nursing mothers. Following worship, please linger after that we may greet you in the name of Christ.

Liturgy

We worship a holy God, and this shapes how we gather and what we do in worship. We gather on a special day appointed by God to leave our private homes to meet with him. We begin services with a call to worship and prayer invoking the Holy Spirit’s presence. We sing and play music different from what is on the radio during the week. We recite ancient creeds of the Church in unison, confess our sins together in prayer, and celebrate sacraments of baptism and communion. And while “listening” during the week may be a passive activity, our listening in worship is active worship, as we humbly quiet ourselves to hear and receive the holy Word of God as it is preached. Sunday worship is the pinnacle of our week!
