Jon Christman

I was born in Reading, PA and have spent the bulk of my life in the greater Philadelphia area. I have been married to Allison (my high school sweetheart) for 14 years and I have one daughter (Elizabeth) who will be a fourth grader at Delaware County Christian School. I count myself blessed to have never truly known a day apart from the Lord. In a spirit of childlike faith, I committed to Christ at any early age. It has been a wonderful and joyful journey of "further up and further in" ever since—to God be the glory! We moved back to the Philadelphia area in 2016 and we visited with some old friends (the McGowens) and new ones (the Johnsons) as we were looking for a new church. We never left. I am pursuing a call to ministry that has been approximately 20 years in the making. I left my legal practice in August 2020 to respond to the call to ministry and enroll as a full-time MDiv student at Westminster Theological Seminary. I have never looked back. I love the Lord, I love his Word, and I love his Church. If  I could visit anywhere, I would go wherever the Olympics are happening.  My favorite color is red because it was the color of my first team jersey. One interesting fact about myself is I am a member of the Cherokee Nation.
