I grew up in beautiful Southern California to two wonderful Christian parents, and due to their faithfulness and God’s grace, there has never been a day when I did not know the Lord. I moved to Chicago to attend Moody Bible Institute, where I majored in Greek and Hebrew. While a student at Moody, I met my wife Sophie. After college, I have continued on to Westminster Theological Seminary where I am pursuing my Master of Divinity.
Sophie and I enjoy having people over for dinner, playing board games, and discussing theology together. I spend most of my free time reading and writing; I enjoy reading everything from theology to epic fantasy to poetry to classic literature. I also enjoy watching almost any sport, in particular cheering on the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, and Manchester United.
My goal in ministry is to serve others the Scriptures so that they might see God clearly and be changed. This is rooted in my appreciation for God’s undeserved grace towards me, and his kindness in calling me back to him time and time again. One verse, of many, that I hold close to my heart is Lamentations 3:22-23: “The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
